Dr. Brown was born in Hickory, OK. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. He enlisted in the United States Army and obtained his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University as well.
After practicing as a veterinarian, he enrolled in Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and obtained his medical degree. He did his internship at Brook Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX and completed his Neurology residency at Letterman Army Medical Center in San Francisco, CA.
He received an honorable discharge from the US Army with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in 1990.
Dr. Brown received his AOA Neurology board certification in May 1995.
He has been practicing in Odessa, TX. since May 1997. He has hospital privileges at Medical Center Hospital and Odessa Regional Hospital in Odessa, TX and Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland, TX.
Dr. Brown has been a speaker on various neurology topics including Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Migraines, and Fibromyalgia.
